Spinola AM/FM 15 transistor. I bought a radio like this
when I was 12 in 1967, except mine was yellow. I saved up
my cash all summer. I remember that it cost $14.95.
General Electric P-850B, 1962.
It is a mini key chain radio that is constructed of
a heavy chrome and black metal case.
General Electric P-807c, 1961.
A larger portable, that plays and sounds great!
Avin 65R38, 1964 10 transistor. This is a big portable
with big sound. Excellent reception and quality sound.
O.M.G.S Deluxe 1000 ten transistor.
This is a reproduction (late 90's) of a
Pepsi vending machine.
It is an AM/FM radio, but has very poor reception.
This is a neat AM/FM Pepsi radio that is designed
like the beach radios of the early 60's. This small radio
impressed me with its great reception and sound.

also manufactured under the O.M.G.S name.
This radio is a strong performer with excellent sound.
Encore Royal Hi-Fi Ten. 1963. These were sharp
looking sets, (See my Impex 8). Made
in several case styles, Nipco, Impex, Omsco,Tarleton,
Metro. Eight and ten transistor styles, very good reception.
Barlow six transistor, made in Japan. From the chassis
it looks like it was made by NEC. It is also the
same as a Trans-Ette YRM6
Universal 6, PTR-62B. Nice ivory colored radio with
excellent reception. Made by Tokyo Transistor
O.M.G.S Deluxe 10 transistor. Nice Aqua color.

Philco T-7 (Double V), this is Philco's very first all
transistor radio from 1956. It is a coat pocket
radio that uses two D-batteries and still plays
very well after all these years!
Arvin 61R39, Ice Blue 7 Transistor
radio from 1962. Nice reverse paint on panel.
It uses a round Eveready 206 9volt
battery, and has an open air tuning capacitor.
Silvertone Medalist 7 Transistor.
Nice reverse paint on panel.
It uses 4AA batteries, some of the transistors are
plug in (sockets), and it has an open air tuning capacitor.
Harlie model TR-10.
Made in 1958, this four transistor
still plays well. It has plug in transistors (sockets)
and an open air tuning capacitor.
Bulova model 670 six transistor, 1960.
This is a beautiful set, with a gold front. It is a very
small radio, and has a rhinestone centered in the star..
Continental TR-683, 1962 six transistor.
One of my favorites It was given to my sister
as a Christmas gift. And yes, I wanted to take it
apart, but she kept it safe, out of my hands!
